Are you sure that the receiver is of Remington manufacture and not a Springfield or Rock Island? Your Springfield barrel dates to 1911 which likely means that the receiver is a low serial number which pre-dates the improved heat treatment methods. The bolt handle appears to also be straight, not swept back, and the stock is a no recoil bolt version which further increases the likelihood that the rifle is a low number example.

I’m sorry, I had another post as well about a Remington. This is definitely a Springfield.

Good deal...the serial number should be in the 450,000 range for the barrel to be correct. Any cartouches on left side of stock beneath the mag cut-off lever? Any NRA markings on the magazine floor plate?

If the rifle is not correct, it is generally considered worth the sum of its parts since it is a low serial number and not considered safe for live fire.
