Assimilation is what "The Melting Pot" is about. The attitude that others should respect our culture is why Europeans hate Americans. I'll get along with almost anyone, but play by the rules. Illegally coming into the country is a punishable crime. "But it's for the children" is old too. The parents didn't think about those kids when they dragged them across a desert and through a river. Those kids can come here when their parents legally immigrate.</p></blockquote><p></p>
