This is the perfect game to get started in competitive shooting. Super-easy. No movement, just stand and shoot five really big steel plates in the correct order, as fast as you can. For those at the top, this becomes the fastest sport ever devised. Faster than drag racing. Fun for adults and kids. There are always kids. Family friendly, just be safe. Safety is priority number one. Cold range.

From the match director, Tony Wall:

"The weather looks like it's going to be awesome!!!!

Steel challenge is a great way to way to keep the fundamentals sharp for the more experienced shooters or to introduce new & Jr. shooters to the shooting sports.

For it to be 80 degrees in February, gotta go.
Heading that way in about 20 minutes, going to give the XCaliber a try.

#2. My trigger control went out the window in the heat of the moment, still ended up close to the middle of the pack. Going to try again next month.

That happens to almost everybody. Especially toward the end of the match. That one stage screws your whole day.

It was great! I'm looking forward to doing it again.

What squad were you on?

I'm a complete amateur so please forgive me for the questions but I would like to attend the next one. What are the rules? As far as pistols, division, equipment etc?
