Be careful on your target selection especially if you are using them for rifles. Depending on what all calibers you want to shoot with, it would be worthwhile to invest in targets made with AR500. If you get mild steel (like a lot of targets from Lewis Manufacturing seem to be), they will not take as much abuse as the AR500 will. If the targets get pitted or damaged, pieces of the bullet can fly back at the shooters and potentially injure shooters.

Any way, the AR500 will definitely make your investment last longer.

EDIT: I have purchased a couple of targets and know people who have purchased targets through MGM Targets. They are quality targets and made out of nice AR500 steel. There are also a few vendors on Snipershide.com that offer some really nice AR500 targets in a variety of types/sizes.
