The range I used to go to had one of those magnetic brooms so it made picking the shells super easy. If I'm just plinking for fun I will shoot steel case all day long.

I’ve used steel case in my AR’s, AK’s and Glocks for years and have never had an issue. Heck, I’ve never had a failure with it either. I currently have a ton of Wolf for my AK. In the end, if its available, buy it.

I’ve used steel case in my AR’s, AK’s and Glocks for years and have never had an issue. Heck, I’ve never had a failure with it either. I currently have a ton of Wolf for my AK. In the end, if its available, buy it.
The only issue I have with my Glock is the smell--like burning plastic.

No issues with shooting it in my CZ carbines at all.

If your shooting competition for big bucks maybe you need brass cases.
If your killin tin cans on a river bank steel is fine.
