So I was going to send my newish G19 down to San Antonio Engraving to get a semi custom grip job done and personalize the pistol. THey pretty much told me that the Glock factory OD Green that is used for the polymer does not engrave well and they didn't recommend it for the OD Green and the FDE Glocks. So they recommended I contact Defkon 3 LLC.

This guys does some amazing Stippling works along with finger grooves and other mods that look great and seem to be functional too. I was sort of turned off to the stippling process probably because of all the crappy home-brew jobs I've seen. This guy does some amazing work. Prices are approx. $350 and $400 dependent on package you want done. May send my 19 in as a birthday gift to myself.

Before you send yours off look at 5B. I know he is on facebook and he does amazing work. Ive spoken with him several times and is a nice guy and will actually talk to you. If you cant find him let me know.

Not a bad job but not as nicely done as Defkon. I also don't trust myself to do this type of work. My dog chewing on the grip would do a better job than me.

I dunno about that, the undercut with the finger groove looks nice, along with the beavertail, it's probably how a glock should feel.

A glock should feel much different than it comes from the factory, but $400 for the work is ridiculous.
