I take full responsibility for my lapse in awareness and not locking the door when I thought I did. It is unfortunate and it doesn't happen with me. Can't remember the last time I've ever locked my keys in the car, left it unlocked, left the lights on, ect. Just one of those days and I'm still kicking myself because I always double check things and am usually aware of whats going on. Everybody has a bad day and today was mine. Perhaps, I should have just kept the firearm with me concealed to the theatre. I removed it on the off chance that we were going to a bar or someplace else where CCW was prohibited. Hard lesson, but it goes to show that even the ones who are the most careful can sometimes lapse and falter. Anyways, will probably have a Beretta 92fs Centurion for sale or trade for a Gen 3 Glock here soon. :grumble: The officers who responded were nice and good fellows. One of the officers told me that he had a firearm stolen from him recently that hasn't been found yet, as well. Another buddy of his had a firearm stolen 10 years ago that just recently came up. Crazy.
