I had a Glock stolen back in 2004 in OKC. Cops in Florida picked it up a few months back. OKC PD calls today saying that they have the gun but the serial number on the frame is missing (number on the slide is still there). The detective I talked to didn't know if he could even release the gun to me with the missing serial number. So I'm guessing this isn't that common. Anyone have any experience with a situation like this? If OKC PD releases it to me do you think Glock would/could fix it? I called Glock already and the shut their customer service down early today for what ever reason. I'm just excited I might get it back and don't want to wait until Monday.
