In my opinion, they are excellent gas blocks. I first saw MAA's adjustable gas block at last year's Wanenmacher's gun show here in Tulsa. I recognized their quick-release handguards because I almost purchased one for an AR pistol I wanted to build, and then my eye caught a huge tub of adjustable gas blocks with a price tag of $30. I couldn't believe how cheap they were! I bought a handful, went home, and put them on all of my AR's. I've never had a problem with any of them. They all work fantastic! The only other adjustable gas block I've used is a JP Enterprises JPGS-5S gas block (pictured below) because it has the clamp-style fasteners which is what I wanted to start using because I had a bad experience with my first AR-15 build when I couldn't get the gas block off of the barrel because the ding dong that built the upper I purchased over-torqued the screws and I had to cut the damn thing off with a Dremel. The JP Enterprises JPGS-5S turned out being too tall so I had to put it on my DPMS / AR-10 .308 build. After that, I just kinda stayed devoted to MMA's adjustable gas block. MAA is a great company, and I try to buy from them when I can. I just checked their website, and their adjustable gas blocks are currently on sale for $24.50. That's pretty good!
