Yeah, I must have gotten that call about the same time as zombiegirl. Like I said in the other thread, my business is literally next door to the address listed on the website for his office. I will go there tomorrow and see what I can find out and report back. With any luck superdave will break in at some point and let us know whats going on.
I have heard from a very reliable source that SuperDave65 has quit the gun show circuit. As soon as I have confirmation I will post same.
I can confirm, from Dave Osborne himself, that he will no longer be organizing gun shows, though he will continue to participate as a vendor when able.
Well, that sucks. Did he shed any light into what he is going to do for the people who have already paid for booths and tickets to the shows?
The vendor i heard from has not been able to contact superdave as of this am. I didnt bother going by the listed office for his gun shows after mugsy gave us the info he had.
Man that sucks. Can't blame a fella for going out of business...but there's a right way and a wrong way to do it.
Sorry guys I have no further info from Dave - I passed on what he told me and I urged him to issue some kind of statement. But I have no "inside info" to share.
