I had a titanium 85 with ports... ran a butt load of +P 38 special through it. That individual revolver was Timex tough.

The light frame and the ports made it a pain to shoot...that's the only reason I got rid of it (plus it sweetened a trade for a Colt Cobra).

About the only cronic revolver problems for Taurus were some of the early big bores... now days the revolver problems seem to be hit or miss...

I will say that for those who think Taurus revolvers are "just like Smith and Wessons built on old SW tooling"... that's a giant myth. Lock work, frame dimensions ... not in common at all.

Taurus designs guns that appeal to people who value lower price points more than very high quality products. A classier version of Hi-Point.
