[QUOTE="_CY_, post: 2907527, member: 7629"] your data posted is junk simply due to the fact that no matter how carefully data is assembled from ice cores or what ever that represents thousands of years. NO one really knows for sure data presented is in fact correct. for instance what if fluctuation in ice core was caused by volcanic activity? how can someone know with certainty state of entire planet from one tiny sample? the answer can only be that NO one knows for sure what happened say 20k years ago ... how ever scientists can say what they think happened based on xxx data interpolated from xxx. but they don't know for sure .. NO one does! data collected since man started recording is completely different and I'm not talking about only 136 years or so since official records were kept. there's all sorts of historical data that I've already pointed out for the little ice age and how London used to celebrate on the frozen Thames river each winter. we know with certainty global climate in that era was different from today. reason your article posted about methane was junk was simply due to irrelevance. a study measuring current release of frozen methane has nothing to do with threat of massive amounts of frozen methane being released if ocean should warm enough. again ... recent/detailed data collections going back say 15 years or say 100 years are completely different vs interpolated data going back say 20k years. I've never disputed accuracy of data that was directly collected. which also happens to backup what I've been posting that our world is getting warmer with water levels going up due expansion. followed by no one really knows if said warming is caused by man and/or simply part of a cycle lasting say hundreds of years?
