The world's largest 3D printed titanium pressure functional component ever produced on one of the most powerful brake test benches on the market! This is what it looks like when Bugatti prepares its first printed titanium brake caliper for series production.

Hard braking at over 200 MPH and take the rotor up to over 1800 degrees after multiple passes. AMAZING to see the friction burn... And was just thinking a cast steel or iron caliper that size would way at least fifty pounds.

Wasn’t really calling you out specifically. Apologies if it seemed that way.

Nah. Not taken that way. Just letting my critical/cynical side back out.

I was thinking about it some more, and it technically is production. Just not mass production. To that end the Daniel Defense Wave suppressor is the same.
