What happened in Lincoln was, Nebraska played Nebraska, and lost. Granted, the Texas defensive staff did their homework & were prepared, but the 'Huskers seemed bound & determined not to stop the Horns from scoring, and equally averse to putting numbers up themselves (dropping 4 almost certain TD passes and giving up almost 100 yds in dumb penalties). And of course Mack & Co certainly got some help from the officiating, which would have to be called substandard at best.....sheesh. IMHO, OU, OSU, Mizzou, K State.....any of them could have gone to Lincoln yesterday and done just as good a job of helping the Huskers beat themselves at UT did. I don't think the Pellinis could be blamed for that one. As for who's underrated & overrated.....college ball has gotten to be one of these "on any given day" things. Look at the "upsets" yesterday. There are a few real duds this yr....Minnesota (I think Jenks could beat them), both NM teams, Colorado (it looks like the P10 is starting to revive a little of late, and I think the Buffs are soon gonna realize they wet the bed by jumping over....), but for the rest, there'll likely be some more suprises. The "rankings" really don't mean much until late Nov anyway.
