It's a rock lined canal and an ugly one at that. Instead of MAPS spending anymore money downtown how about sidewalks and covered bus stops around the whole metro area? I'm sitting here freezing my rear end off in frozen, snow covered Anchorage, Alaska and never once thought about going to the Boat House District for a vacation. Never. If it had been the Cat House District it might have got my upright attention. For boats I'd go to the ocean where they have water and wetness.</p></blockquote><p></p>
