Here's a pic I took at a gunshow at the fairgrounds in December of 2012.

Whenever I hear someone talk about when to buy an AR, be they friends, family or even people in line at the grocery store,
I show them that pic and then look up current prices on Spikes lowers.

The market may not have bottomed out just yet, but now is definitely not a bad time to get in.

Crazy. That was a super highway robbery price.

Hope that the AR market has bottomed but has it?

Who cares? I can't imagine being much cheaper.

Bought an Anderson lower, LPK, stock kit, 40rd PMag, and MFT stock for about $200 from the guys at FBT this week. You can get into an upper for under $300. That's pretty cheap.

I'm glad. A chicken in every pot, a car in every garage, and an AR15 in every hand. Wasn't that what Hoover promised? I have 16 hands that still need filling. I'm like the goddess Kali.

No, it was a chicken in the garage and a car in every yard! The goddess thing is on you.
