I thought you meant Barbara Boxer.

Look at this quick and tell me CNN isn't biased. Fiorina has a higher vote count, but they project Boxer to win? :scratch: Wishful thinking?

Yes they are biased to the nth degree. The reason they will call a race that is dead even and only a small 5 of the votes counted is this.

If the election returns that have come in to that point are mostly from the more conservative areas (republicans) of the state and much fewer returns are in from the the big cities such as L.A., San Fran, Sacramento, San Diego (democrats) and the two candidates are in a neck and neck race then there is a much greater potential for more democrate votes to filter in later because the big left leaning cities have not had their ballots counted yet thus favoring the libs.
