So after countless months, an unimaginable number of hours on the range, and nearly 5,000 rounds fired for this test alone, the largest .22 Long Rifle Ammunition comparison ever conducted (probably) is completed!
I have organized the accuracy results from the most accurate, to the least accurate. Following the accuracy testing is the chronograph results.
It is a total of 85 different types of .22 Long Rifle ammunition, in 8 different firearms, with 8 different barrel lengths, multiple action types, and totally different firearm manufacturers.
Pace yourself, it is 141 pages long, so grab a coffee, a beer, or a cigar. I highly recommend using the search function in word in order to find specific results.
Feel free to reuse the data however you see fit, just make sure and give me a wee bit of credit if you share it.
I have posted some ballistic gel results on here already, and will complete additional gel testing when the weather cools down a bit (for the non-round nose types), so stay tuned!
