[QUOTE="nofearfactor, post: 1316403, member: 1535"] My wife wont let me eat burgers and have malts much any more, so just saying I ate a burger and drank a malt would be bragging enough for me... Yes,we do too. My stepfather was raised all around that area from Gore to Sallisaw to Nicutt. We try to get to Tenkiller as much as we can. Our favorite thing to do is to hurry and get to our cabin inside the State Park at Tenkiller on a Friday afternoon in the fall/winter,unload,then go in to Ft Smith for early dinner and seafood at the Lighthouse right on the river between FtSmith and Van Buren, maybe walk around Central Mall for a bit, then drive back up to Tenkiller. Saturdays we usually venture down to Gore to grocery shop and mess around and maybe eat lunch or go back up and drive around the lake and stop for our burger and malt. Go back to the cabin to relax, the wife builds a fire,we cook a nice meal in the cabin and have some adult beverages or wine. Sunday morning we will cook breakfast in the cabin or maybe go over to FinNFeather for buffet. Sadly Sunday afternoon we take our time on the way back home on the back roads,go past Camp Gruber, maybe stop in Muskogee for something to snack on, then go home to Coweta. Some of our best times no matter how many overseas trips, cruises, etc,we've been on we still love our time up at Tenkiller the best.
