Winter War is tomorrow. Must be a Mosin or variant. Dumpstick is going to drag me out during deer season(and I’m deerless). Come on out. We shoot at 1 so be there a little early. There may be two rounds of shooters depending on how many show up. I’ve not kept track of the numbers but someone might have more info on that?

Equipment:: A rifle and 60 rounds of ammo. An additional 10 rounds if you want to shoot the supplemental match, which is an additional side match afterwards. A front rest and rear sandbags are helpful, as us a spotting scope. A staple gun is Handy, to mount the targets. Distance: 100 yds normally. Sometimes the supplemental match will be at different distances. Targets: supplied, an NRA official something or other. Match layout : 10 rounds warmup. 2- 10 round group targets, smallest group counts. 3 - 10 round strings for score, they all count. 10 minutes allowed per string. Time First: rounds downrange at 1pm Cost: $5 for match, $1 for optional supplemental match. Not necessary to be a member.
You say iron sights only then "Issue sights". Is this bolt gun supposed to be something used in war. I was reading along and issue sights on my savage axis was a scope. Or is that not Issue sights and is this match for modern guns?
