The price of these old shotgun shells

My father-in-law found an old box of his shells when he moved. He’s not able to shoot anymore, so he gave them to me. Man, do I miss the prices on these boxes. $1.19 for a box of slugs.

Got a few TG&Y price stickers on ammo too. Mostly 410 for $2.00 or less.

Then I remember how much we made back then. Still better prices than today though!

I have some paper .410, some paper hull 12 ga as well as some 16 ga that is prior warning.

Some days I sure do miss Toys Games & Yo-yos. And the old Walmarts from when Sam was still running the place.

I was with my Dad when he went to Sears to buy his one and only firearm - a Ted Williams 12 gauge. He purchased 2 boxes of shells at the same time.

I now own that shotgun, and have a half-box of those old paper hull shells around here somewhere.
