The reason I needed a trigger guard

Bought Upper & lower in the white. Was using muriatic acid to take black off of safety, bolt stop, ETC & the trigger guard witch was aluminum with a thick coat of black finish . Acid attacked the aluminum where the holes were drilled.Th e little retainer pin was gone & hole was very large.

barrel 7.50 long 223 wildy, hand guard 4 inches , Ebay special. Any body got a good way to get the black off the forend?

Somewhere recently I learned that muriatic acid isn’t a good idea.

I have a bead blaster will leave a frosted finish. Was looking for finish like before it was coated.
