In response to C_Hallberts post: As I said in another thread, when my sons fought, and one came complaining to me even though there was an age difference, my question to them was what are you going to do about it, cuz dad wasn’t going to get involved in their petty squabbles. I didn’t allow them in team sports. I put them in wrestling programs where winning and loosing was determined by none other than personal determination and willingness to win on an individual basis. (Unabashed bragging on son) One has taken the lessons to professional levels. He is a great instructor for wrestling or BJJ. He started grappling when he went to Ponca City High School and wrestled there. He has been training in BJJ since 2005. Chris is one of our most accomplished competitors in tournaments. Chris has accumulated hundreds of medals in local tournaments. He has won many titles at Naga, Europa, AGF, and FTW. He has also competed at the highest level in BJJ at the World Championships twice—once as a brown belt and once as a black belt.
