"Themed Pairs" Photos

The idea of this one is pick out two guns that are tied together in some way - at least one common trait... BUT, they are very different in one or more other ways (one is a handgun, one is longgun - or one is rifle, one is shotgun - or one is rimfire, one is centerfire - or one is semi-auto, and one is manual repeater or single shot - or whatever).

In other words, don't just put a pic of "here are my two glock 17s". Must be something different / interesting about the two guns.

Take the pics - state what the theme is (what they have in common) in your subject line, and how they are different, if the pics don't fully explain it.

First, I'll start with the themed pair of "Blocky Bullpups":

The Magnum Research 10/22 mag clone has a CF bbl. Both of these are unbelievably lightweight, particularly the Kel-Tec PMR-30 though, even more so than the Magnum Research.

Both rifles are chambered in .280 Rem, and have been "tacti-cooled" a bit. What can I say? I like AFGs and I like a light on my gun. I want to be able to hunt anything anywhere that's legal, including Texas night piggies.

Two of several I have. Both are wood and blued Savage 24"combo guns with 20 gauge barrels on bottom. But the scoped one is .22 mag on top, and the iron-sighted one is .30-30 Win on top.

Both are silver & black (stainless steel & textured black synthetic-stocked) muzzleloaders.

One is a hoss - a 26" .50 cal Knight's DISC rifle.

The other one is for carrying a long ways - a 20" .45 cal Rossi break-action.

These are my pickup truck guns.

The pistol is both a carry gun and a pickup truck gun (Ol Yellerized Norinco 1911 C-Bob, pictured with my new Looper Leather "Hybrid Holster").

The rifle is my pickup truck rifle ("No. 6" Jungle Carbine, 7.62x51mm, with AO scout mount, and Nikon Omega 1.5-6x36mm scout scope, and jungle carbine pig-sticker).
