There's a new .22 semi-auto pistol coming out,,,
Kel Tec P17.

It's a compact, comparable in size to the Ruger SR-22 and S&W M&P Compact,,,
It's advertised as having completely ambidextrous safety switch and mag release.

I suppose it gets it's name from the most amazing feature,,,
It has a 16 + 1 capacity which is unheard of in .22 handguns.

I was somewhat amazed to read it will ship with three mags,,,
That's almost an entire box of .22 LR ammo.

And, it has a MSRP of only $199.00.

I called The Evil Pawn Shop Guy as soon as I read the article and saw the website,,,
I told him to order me at the moment they become available to him,,,
Unfortunately I called Kel Tec and that won't be until mid-November.

I'll buy one just to add to my "Range Toy" collection,,,
But I'm thinking at less than two Benjamins,,,
This will make a great graduation gift.

It will be interesting to see it in action. I really can’t think of a .22 pistol holding many rounds. I’m a little skeptical that Kel-Tec can pull it off.
