I use the full synthetic Castrol Edge w/ Titanium 5W-20 in my vehicles, my mower and my 4 cycle weedeater. In my '05 Grand Marqis it improved my highway milage by approx. 3 miles per gallon.. from 21-22 MPG to 24-25 MPG. That is usually running at 70 MPH w/ air conditioning. In my truck, I noticed a significant difference in my radiator temp. The motor runs a lot cooler and sounds smoother. Last oil changes, I went with the latest Castrol version that sells for about $8 a quart.. and I change the oil every 10,000 miles. Even at 10,000 miles the oil often looks like new. The first 5,000 miles I sometimes had to get the sunlight just right to even see the oil on the dip-stick as it was still so clear I could only see the oil's level by the sun's reflection off of the film. As long as I can afford it, I plan to use the full Synthetic. My Generac whole house natural gas fueled electric generator's warranty also calls for using 5w-20 full synthetic oil.. it didn't suggest any certain brand to use. Dozens of hours of running time on the oil and it was still crystal clear.
