Thunderbird cats still have eggs.

Last week i got a couple cats Chanel's and eggs falling out of them in 89 degree water.
Today i got a few and small channel cat had a nice sack full of eggs.

We all probably know this year is screwy.

And also got a 37" long 27 lb blue cat on a perch.

Interesting. I was sand bass fishing early this summer. We didn't have a run up the creeks, just up the river. Way after spawning season, the Game warden for the area came by in his boat, and checked me.

We talked about the eggs still in the sandy's that I had caught.

All that being said, we have not had the sand bass success that we normally have on Kaw.

The shad are there by the millions. No lack of food.
