3rd creation, Let me know what you think. This may be my favorite to date, My wife dubbed this one Tiger Bite!

That is awesome! What all did you do to it? That blade is so cool!

Thanks, I acid etched the Blade, Dyed the FRN scales. Resharpened it with a 40* Microbevel, And reassembled it oiling with food safe mineral oil.

You know you couldn't pay me to buy a blaze orange knife but that one I would love to own, for some reason it makes me think of Jurassic Park. First time I've even seen anyone customize a factory knife, very cool!

Are you using RIT dye? Also what are you using to keep the dye away from the orange?

Yes, I am still experimenting with what works the best. so far nothing has been foolproof. I have tried hot glue, and tub and tile caulking.

I would recommend disassembling any knife you do so you do not get acid behind the handle where you cannot rinse it off properly.
