I was miserable for a few days, took me about a week before swallowing wasn't excruciating. I asked to see my tonsils and they said they disintegrated on the tray when removed, because I had tonsilitis so bad (couple times a year, every year, all my life, thus the reason for the surgery). Don't know why, but they took my adenoids out while they were in there.So glad that happened when I was young. God, I cringe to think what I would be going through now...</blockquote>
