[QUOTE="Mr.357Sig, post: 1619844, member: 8148"] I've been a fan of the BBC's "Top Gear" for years. The show sports terrific production value, has a brilliant cast, talented writers and is just plain fun to watch. The U.S. version of "Top Gear" is watchable, but lacks the chemistry of the original. That's to be expected since the BBC show has been on the air for more than 15 seasons. I was watching some of the U.S. Top Gears this weekend and found them to be more entertaining than the first one's I saw last year during its inaugural season. I just can't believe how much they copy directly from the BBC show, like "The Stig" and "The Reasonbly-Priced Car", etc. You would think the producers would rename The Stig, at least. I do, however, like how the Yankee version adds a speedo and track map to The Stig's runs around the track. I much prefer the U.K. version to the U.S. version. Which version do you guys and gals prefer? The new or original? (For the record, either Top Gear destroys Adam Carolla's abomination "The Car Show". That program is just plain awful.) U.S. or U.K.?
