I have seen some pretty gruesome stuff, and been in some pretty puckering situations. Nothing, and I mean nothing, has made me so nauseas so quickly as that video. As soon as he got to the "free climbing" portion, I was done.

I had no idea I could hold my breath for 5 minutes... but I think I did through that whole video.
*shudder*

I kid you not, there were parts where I was rocking back and forth in my chair from un-easiness.

Whoa.

I can't believe with all the stupid rules OSHA has, "free climbing" that friggin' thing is kosher to them.

Not that I think it shouldn't be (Who the the hell is ANYBODY to tell those guys how to do their jobs?), it just seems odd they allow it with all the goofy regs they have.

Maybe that's it.

OSHA guy: You need to be securely tethered at all times.

Climber: No, that's OK. I'll just let you climb up there. What's that? No volunteers? I'll just do it my way then, how's that?

I bet there are some BASE jumpers crying from jealousy at that video, though.
