Been fly fishing New Mexico and Colorado for the last 2 1/2 months. Caught a lot of trout and got to view some of the most beautiful scenery in the world.
Fished the Rio Los Pinos in New Mexico, along with the Conejos, Beaver creek, South Fork of the Rio Grande, and the Rio Grande in Colorado, along with several high country lakes.
Caught Browns, Rainbow, cutthroat, and Cutbow trout.

Well, lots of people in the park but not too many fishing. We did have a small group of spectators below the spillway when we got into some fish.
I caught this little yellow fella which was my first.

That Golden is on my bucket list to catch one. When they used to stock Pawhuska lake, they released one of the golden trout into the lake. We spotted it cruising under the surface from the boat, following it all over while throwing the tackle box at it. Never bit anything so we gave up.
