Turkey tagged on leg

Is this domesticated, farm raised or just a wild turkey tagged? He showed up this morning on my porch and won't leave.

Given the coloring, I'd say it is domesticated. (Farm raised) & escaped before Thanksgiving, & showed up at your house on Thanksgiving.

I'm not an expert on turkey,
But I believe wild turkey are dark in color, generally black, & farm raised domestic turkey are light in color (generally white).
This one seems to have white feathers all over.

Domesticated turkeys do not fly well.
I say chase it and see if it fly's away like a farm or wild turkey.

Wild turkeys are occasionally banded, but not in great numbers. That is pretty cool. It's not often that your food comes looking for you. Bring it inside and warm it up.
