TYR Group, LLC Tactical Tracking (TT101) Course - Heavener, OK

TYR Group, LLC is being hosted to provide their 3-day Tactical Tracker Course in Oklahoma.

The class will take place over Friday, August 7th through Sunday, August 9th near Heavener in SE Oklahoma. A minimum number of participants is required in order for the course to make. Course cost is $450.

Please pay particular attention to the physical requirements and recognize that the course will be conducted in a remote field environment without immediate access to advanced medical care. NOTE: Students must come prepared to sustain themselves for three days in field conditions, as the course is taught entirely in the field. This includes your shelter, food and an initial water loadout. A local water point will be located for resupply throughout the weekend but follow the recommendations on the website to get started. Our initial meeting place in Heavener is a grocery store, so last minute food or water prep should be available.

This class is being offered on April 22 - 24, 2016. All other course details are the same (meeting location, etc.)

Please visit the link below to pre-register. No payment is required until 10 pre-regs have been received. Make sure to register with the course "TT101", with dates of "22-24 April, 2016" and include a note at the bottom which states that you are pre-registering for the course. Once the first five have pre-reg'ed, Tyr will put the class on their web calendar as a tentative date. When the 10th pre-reg is received, they will send instructions to everyone regarding payment.

Once the payment instructions go out, payment must be received in full. Please do not pre-register unless you have funds in hand to pay when you register. Please do not register on the chance that you 'might' attend the class.

Some info about the Instructor from the TYR Group website:

"John Hurth is a retired U.S. Army Special Forces Soldier who served with 1st Special Forces Group at Ft. Lewis, WA where he participated in multiple deployments overseas to include two combat tours in support of the Global War On Terror. John also served with the Special Operations Training Detachment at the Joint Readiness Training Center (JRTC) in Ft. Polk, LA. His duties were to coach, teach and mentor Special Operations units undergoing training at JRTC. Prior to joining Special Forces he served as an Infantry Soldier in multiple Airborne, Light and Mechanized Infantry assignments within the continental U.S. and overseas.

After retiring John put to use his years of tracking knowledge and experience working as the program lead and head instructor for the U.S. Army’s Combat Tracker Course at Ft. Huachuca, AZ. He managed and oversaw the conduct and resourcing of the Army’s Combat Tracker Course and instructed many U.S. and Foreign military students in Combat Tracker Techniques. John also designed and supervised the implementation of the Combat Tracker Course into the U.S Army’s ASAT (AUTOMATED SYSTEMS APPROACH TO TRAINING) networking system.

John is also the author of the recently released "Combat Tracking Guide"."
