No one's gonna be able to tell you how much the rifle is worth without unwrapping it and inspecting it. Just because it's greased and wrapped doesn't mean it's unissued. Even old, beat up, but serviceable rifles were stored that way.There's a 1903 up for auction on the CMP that's wrapped/greased and the CMP says they have no idea of the condition of the rifle.I know a lot of M1 rifles were returned by the Greeks wrapped and preserved in grease. Not sure if 1903s were done the same way.
