Message: <blockquote data-quote="kennedy" data-source="post: 1880821" data-attributes="member: 7176">In my opinion we are too focused on who the president is or who the next one is going to be.  In the past few decades it seems that the president has become nothing more than the Billy Mays of the government.  He's the spokesman, salesman and puppet for the people in the congress.  Until we can revamp who is sitting in those seats collecting a check, it won't matter who the president is.  We have had numerous different presidents, but the results never get better.  Maybe it's time to confront the control behind the curtain.  Disclaimer:  I've never really been into politics and I'm still very uneducated in such.  My statements could be completely wrong as they are observations as to the actions of our government.</blockquote>
