Hell, there are so many people there that still remember life prior to statehood. It's Hawaiian proud, and after spending so much time there over the years, I get it. All the same, most people would live far below their current standard without the welfare... But they don't bite the hand that feeds. They're like Texans. Hawaii will do just fine without the US. No exports to really mention in terms of major revenue. Everyone else flocks there to give them money. I'll keep doing that too until the day I finally break down and move out there.</p></blockquote><p></p>
