Just got some database errors and was not able to access the site for a few min.

Yeah, I just noticed those. I did a quick reboot of the server since the backend SQL server was acting a little wierd. I'll keep an eye on it.

Doing much better here, with a few hiccoughs here and there - but they are probably my end (Chrome-unstable sometimes returns non-existent errors).

Just wondering... what's your anonymous:authenticated ratio? And if it's high, ever considered running Varnish?
