Don't know if they've changed their policy since I had dealings with them, but I sent an UZI to Vector in Utah several years ago. They charged me over a hundred dollars in shipping stating that it had to be shipped overnight in special packaging. I complained to a manager and he agreed with what the clerk at the desk had said. I went ahead and paid it. About two weeks later I picked it up at the same location I had shipped it from and that same manager was working the desk. He gave me my package and I asked him how it was shipped back and what it cost. It was a two day trip and $35.00. I asked why it was different and he said he didn't know but if he was wrong, I would get a refund. I got a phone call later that day and he told me that he was in fact wrong and a refund check was headed my way. The next day I got a call from the same manager letting me know that one of his bosses had passed down a policy that machine guns would no longer be shipped by UPS.
