Unmodiified, they can both be shot in SSP Division and ESP Division.
The class is determined by your score on the classifier.

By the way, .40 S&W can be loaded down to 125 Power Factor for IDPA, and compete straight up with the 9mm. There is no point to using full power .40 in IDPA. If I recall correctly, you need a 15# recoil spring in a G35 for 125 power.

Yes, I meant division moreso than class. So, essentially both the G22&35 can be used in all the same divisions together? Now as far as GSSF, which is similar to IDPA (from what I was told) the G22&35 do not share as many compatible divisions as they do in IDPA.
