I've never felt Informed Delivery was reliable. Lately it seems worse than usual. Every day for the past 5 days we've had the morning ID email that shows what we should expect today and in the next few days. It's been wrong every single day. Today it's showing one package that was delivered (and shows delivered on the USPS website tracking tool) 3 days ago as having an unknown delivery date. Another package shows "out for delivery" and it was delivered 2 days ago. Lots of inconsistencies like that. And regular mail...forget it. It's always hit or miss on whether we'll get what the email shows on the day it's supposed to be delivered. The USPS would be a great place for the efficiency gurus to start.
