[QUOTE="mtngunr, post: 4369059, member: 46104"] As for Tulsa, they were something I bragged about, but this past Spring the high muckety mucks shut down nationwide many distribution centers including Tulsa, left them handling local mail only while distribution now done only in OKC....although they claimed minimal jobs lost in Tulsa, there were losses, and you can betcha folk with seniority kept theirs, never mind they likely were shifted to an unfamiliar job while distribution machinery ripped out and new/less machinery installed, workers that remain thoroughly demoralized and maybe even pissed, all part of "streamlining" operations... where formerly, if I were sending/receiving a package, say from here in the east to over near Fayetteville AR, my package would have gone 45mins west to Tulsa, and then to Fayetteville distribution center, it now goes through Tulsa to OKC, then to Little Rock, and then goes to Fayetteville for local mail as they also lost their distribution center status... And this is happening nationwide and why a lot of these FUBAR tracking results, the management streamlining operations into chaos. And if you want to blame anyone, blame Congress for cutting the USPO off from official govt control and demanding it privatize and be self supporting, and it going from best in the world to total chaos year by year since then.
