The US Shooting Academy has a competition 3-Gun course coming up, July 8-11. The course will be taught by USSA instructor Erik Lund. Erik joined the United States Shooting Academy in 2006 as a member of the USSA Shooting Team. Lund is a USPSA Grandmaster and specializes in three-gun (Pistol, Shotgun, and Rifle) style competitions. He has several State, Regional, and National level, three-gun titles to his credit. Lund developed several beginner, intermediate, and advanced courses for pistol and three-gun competitions, and has been featured on "Sighting In" and Shooting Gallery." He has over 15 years Law Enforcement experience with over 13 years as a Firearms Instructor, Defensive Tactics Instructor, Use of Force Instructor, Baton Instructor, and Less Lethal Weapons Instructor.

This four day course includes instruction on the competition use of shotgun, semi-auto rifle and pistol. You will need at least 300 rounds of pistol, 1200 rounds of rifle and 750 (700 birdshot - #6-8 - and 50 slugs) of shotgun ammunition. You'll need all of the standard comp gear including mag pouches and shotgun shell strippers. You need to be USPSA classified at the time of the course.

To sign up contact Charles Hulvey at [email protected] and mention that you found the course on OSA, or go to the US Shooting Academy website.

If you have any questions about the course, feel free to contact me by PM or e-mail.
