USSA Presents:
2012 Summer Points Series

 Season starts Wednesday March 21st and ends October 24th.
• Wednesday night matches start at 1730
• Friday Night Lights will start at 2000
• Saturday afternoon matches will start at 1600
 Course of fire
• All matches will require 60-70 rounds
• All matches will have 5 scored strings of fire worth 100 points each
• Some matches will have bonus target that do not count towards match, but give you points series point. These will be one shot targets, typically at a longer range
• All matches will have a sighter target and a best group target that is shot before scored strings.
• All ties will be broken by best group.
• Corse of fire and target descriptions will be made before match
 Entry Fees
• A onetime entry fee for points series is $25
• You may enter the series any time during the season.
• Wednesday night matches are $5
• Friday Night Lights are $8 (to help with electric bill)
• Saturday afternoon matches are $5
 Winnings/Awards
• For every string of fire you win in your division, you will receive $1
• Series bonus points will be awarded to 1st-5th in every match
 1st-50pts
 2nd 40pts
 3rd 30pts
 4th 20pts
 5th 10pts
• At season end series points will be added up and series entry fees will be dispersed as follows:
• 1st-40%
• 2nd-30%
• 3rd-20%
• And 10% will go to club.
 Rules, divisions, and match types.
• All general fire arm rules apply.
• USSA is a cold range. This means your weapon is not to be loaded until the RO instructs you to do so.

 Fire
 Unload and show clear, let your neighbor verify both visually and physically.
 Make weapons safe. And prep for next string.
• Follow the RO’s orders, failure to do so will result in match DQ and a 100 point penalty.
• Matches and divisions will vary from match to match
• Most matches are bulls eye type matches.
• Match types are as follows:
• Rim-fire rifle bulls eye
 Scoped and iron sight divisions
• Rim-fire pistol bulls eye
 Iron sight and optics
• Center fire rifle bulls eye
 Modern scoped
 Modern iron sight
 Military scoped
 Military iron sight
• Abbreviated PPC match
• Friday night lights
 This will be on a lit range and the match may vary from month to month.
• 3d archery.
 All match information will be located at www.usshootingacademy.com and will be updated at the end of each month to include upcoming match type.

Setup: B27 target (x ring, 10 ring, 9 ring, 8 ring, 7 ring), barricades at 25 and 50 yards.

Front half:
7 yards: draw shoot 6, reload, shoot six. Time limit 24 seconds
25 yards: drawn and kneel shooting shits shots kneeling, six shots support hand off support side of barricade, six shots strong hand off strong side. Time limit 90 seconds

Score target. Each bullet is worth it's scoring ring value. 30 shots would be worth a max of 300 points.

Back half:
50 yards: 6 shots sitting, 6 shots prone, six standing support hand off support side of barricade, six strong hand off strong hand side. Time limits: 2 minutes, 45 seconds
15 yards: six shots standing in 12 seconds

Score target as instructions above. 300 total points available.
Add front score to back score, 600 total points available. For LE Firearms Instructors it takes 480 to get into the instructor school, and 540 to pass.
