My wife has requested a new vacuum. She's rather hard on them (vacuums daily) as our current one has only lasted about 3 years. It's a Hoover Wind Tunnel T-Series and the bottom lip, surrounding the sweeper has broken (most likely from meeting the baseboards too often). I haven't been too impressed with it's ability to pick up dog/cat hair (prior to damage) when moving from the tile/hardwood floors to the carpet. We're about to move into a new house with more carpet, so I need a solid vacuum which is bagless. In my research, I've found a Bissell or two that are rated highly on Amazon, but I suspect that could due to the price point being less than $150, making it a more likely purchase for most. Here's one Bissell with decent reviews BISSELL-CleanView-Bagless-Technology-3583 I'm leaning toward the Shark Rotator Pro Complete just due to the reviews. It seems to handle moving between hard/carpeted floors without issue. Any thoughts on either?
