I started comparing and shopping on Amazon and finally ordered the Shark Navigator, Lift Away Pro...So far I've been really impressed..It has been better then I could have ever imagined..we have an indoor Lab and so vacuuming was and still is a daily job..This thing got hair the first use that I'm sure had been in the rug a while..over half of house is hard wood and it works really well on it also..It also comes with a special dust away head that is made for wood floors but I actually haven't tried it yet..another attachment is what it calls a pet,powder brush..Actually a smaller head that has a built in wind driven brush..this is really the thing to use on pet hair..Anyway, I just can't say enough good things about it..Maybe it won't last 6 years like the Dyson, but it cost less then half as much as the Dyson and is a much more powerful machine..If interested, the one we ordered on amazon was the Shark Navigator Lift Away Pro model NV 355..Good luck..VIKING</p></blockquote><p></p>
