[QUOTE="RickN, post: 4308834, member: 8854"] My stew recipe based on what my wife will eat. Your results may vary. :P :P :P 1lb ground beef 1 onion chopped 3 medium potatoes scrubbed and cut into bite size pieces. 3 Carrots sliced 1 stalk celery chopped 1 bag Bird's eye frozen mixed veggies. The small microwave bags. 3 cups beef broth or bullion 1 can tomato sauce 1 can diced tomatoes Dash of worcestershire sauce Dash of Nature's Seasoning (to taste) Brown the beef and the onions. Drain and place in slow cooker (you can do it all in a dutch oven or other large pot too. Add all the veggies, liquids and seasonings. Simmer 8 to 10 hours. The longer it cooks, the better.
