I actually saw a sentence in a story (I think it was about stand your ground laws) that went something like, 'murders have gone down, BUT defensive shootings have gone up,' as if shooting a bad guy in self defense is a bad thing. And you can also see it when they talk about gun deaths or gun crimes and not just deaths and crime in general, or how they lump justifiable homicides, suicides, and murder all together if they are gun related.</p></blockquote><p></p>
