Pardon my lack of wheel gun knowledge but is this not a pinned barrel?

 

No. The pin on a pinned barrel Smith is on the other end of the barrel at the front of the frame.

So I found it out... Per S&W database. Its a early 82 model. Real 36 ( no dash) and 82 was the first year of no pinned barrel. Its serial number J930_ _ _ (And the last 3 are numbers) What do the experts feel is a fair value tradewise as I think im just not a wheel gun guy and am going to look to trade it for another CZ 9mm

 

Yeah, but im not a chrome guy and to make it how I would like it... i would ruin the value.

 

Whoa....I think he oughta sell me that dirty old gun. I know what to do for it.

 

I'd make it tungsten graphite with grey nills grips. Fiber sight and carbon trigger and controls.

 

Being pre-lock and pre-MIM it'll bring a premium.

Please don't ceracoat that little guy. It's great on autos but just doesn't "work" on revos. ETA: It's like a really bad boob job. Just ain't natural!
