I have no experience with this particular model, but I do have a vortex sparc that I bought about 3 years ago. Mounted on my AR and a FAL. That sparc has been mistreated from day one. It's scarred up, dinged up, chipped. It's been rained on, dropped, kicked, landed on concrete, thrown in the sand and been exposed to cold as well as heat, and it and the rifle left on snow ( by my wonderful daughter) for about 2-3 hours. I've only had to change the battery twice, and it still holds zero and functions perfectly every time. I would without hesitation trust anything made by vortex optics.
I have this scope. Well maybe 3 of them. Great clarity and you can't beat the warranty.
